Jennifer Monaghan moved to the Northern Virginia area in 2004 from California and attended George Mason University in Fairfax, earning her degree in Health Systems Management. She always had a passion to help people. In high school her passion for helping others began and She became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA). It was in 2009 after the childbirth experience of her second son that her broad passion for helping others was focused to helping mothers and their partners through the birthing process. She is a certified doula through DONA International and Childbirth International. Additionally, she has taken a spinning babies course in 2011, has trained in the use of the Peanut Ball (critical for epidural support) in 2016, was Hypnobabies certified in 2016 and completed the Karen Strange Neonatal Resuscitation course in 2017. She is passionate about supporting families through their birthing process and supports all birth choices, including non-medicated birth, induction, epidural birth, cesarean, scheduled cesarean, VBAC, Hypnobirthing, Hypnobabies, Bradley Method, Lamaze and more.
